Hi all, I used to own a '99 hornet 600 and had a scorpion can fitted (product code ha63). I sold the bike with the standard can on and still have the can in the garage. I've since bought a '99 cbr600fx. I've had a custom made stainless set of downpipes fitted and want to fit the scorpion can. Scorpion list the specific can for the cbr as product code ha57. I've contacted them regarding compatibilty but they came back with a reply of "we make each exhaust individual to each model of bike and the can won't work correctly with the cbr". Call me thick, but I can't see what difference it would make, as the engines on both the bikes are pretty much the same?!?! (I think!).
I'm just after some advice to wether or not it would be putting my engine running or performance at risk of worsening? Also, would the link pipe be the same fitting (can end).

Graham, you should be able to make it work just fine. It shouldn't have any negative effect on performance whatsoever.

Hi, I've found a company (in the uk) http://www.predatormotorsport.co.uk/ who sell the whole system. They have 3 x link pipes (2 now coz I've bought one!) a available on eBay (again... UK version) priced at £36.99 each plus postage....
