Default is it the right choice?

Hi guys. i just wanted your opinion that i have bought a CBR600F 2002model, very clean red and black color bike,i personally love the 600 CBR RR bike but due to budget contraints i had to go for a CBR600F. can anyone tell me is there much difference in CBR600RR and CBR600F, i mean..CBR600F is a good bike right? i really love fast bikes plus the bikes that makes most sound and looks really sporty! pls tell me the difference in these two bikes! thanks in advance.
kind regards,
ameer.

The RR is more of a factory race bike where the f4i is a street bike. Don't get me wrong the f4i is a great bike and can do everything the 600rr can, but the 600rr is just going to do it better and faster, that is with the right rider on it.

The F4i is a great bike, doesnt look as good as the RR but it is still a great bike. If you want your bike to make sound you have to put a slip-on or full exhasut on it, any bike can make alot of sound.

I sat on an RR at the delaership and I didnt like it when i sat on it, just had to lean too much, but they are very nice bikes.

My f4 will do everything an rr will do, hell i can keep up with the rece bikes (gsxr's r6's) no problem. It's all about the rider though.

I agree with you guys..mmm...my concern is not with 'speed' coz i wont be racing with others anyways, my concern was with looks and with leaning on it.i like the bikes in which you have to lean too much..they just look great with the rider on it!!!!..isnt there a way you can modify F4 so that the rider has to lean a bit more??

umm...f4i used to be a race bike...it's just an older generation race bike...not a 'street bike' ;-)
yes, it's mostly about the rider.

Yes! thats what i wanted to hear that F4 is not a "street bike" coz i never wanted a street bike! i am always into sports bikes and stuff so then only the question arises whether it was a right choice or not..but F4 has its own charming looks and i am happy to have one. just that i always wanted a RR but anyways..no issues..thank you all for ur concern! cheers.

Dunno why you would want to lean more....guess you like your back to hurt after a long ride? My F4 I can ride for hours, i hoped on my buddys R6 and hell after 30 minutes I was ready to go home.

Street bike, sport bike same thing.....And a rider is everything....if you beat an R6 on your F4i then your a better rider, or you raced an older model. I drove my buddies 04 and I could tell that bike had more go to it.
