Rear fairing change
hello.
Iv just got some second hand farings for the f4/fx and when i open the box i pulled out the rear fairing which rather than it being the standard banana seat fairing it was the one that has the one seat then like one at the back that could prob put a cowl on it.
If anyone knows what am taking about then can you just swap the rear fairings around ill get some pics up.

So you got a split seat fairing...
You can get the rest of the required parts to convert it (link to how to do this is in Gotcbr's sig) or sell/return it and get the right one.
If it were mine, I'd convert it... It looks a lot better. It's not too hard and a very popular thing to do.

^ What 74demon said. ;-)
Check out my tutorial. You'll see what you need. Ea pic step has descriptions of action taken during the process.
In short, you need; '01-03 split-seat subframe, battery tray, tail cowl, tail light, rear pegs or exhaust hanger, & misc hardware (most of which is re-used from your stock banana seat tail).

The only way you wouldn't need the two OEM seats is if you installed a track tail that utilizes a seat pad.
