Default quick carb jet question

I ran a search to find this but couldn't find anything conclusive. I recently bought a yoshimura rs-3 on here, and I like the pipe but I am thinking about rejetting the carbs so they are better tuned for the pipe. Anyone here have good experiences/recommendations about which kit I should use for a pipe tune? thank you for your input.

I used the Dynojet stage 1 kit with my Two Brothers slip on and K&N drop in, works great.

Why are you rejetting? Chances are your A/F ratio is right where it needs to be.

Either install a wideband or take it to a dyno to confirm, before you start messing with jets.

My Stage 2 runs rich at low speeds, but it provided a noticable boost once I really have the ram air kicking in. I'd imagine the Stage 1 would have been a better way to go. That's on my F3 though, so take it with a grain of salt.

after installing the exhaust i feel a little hesitation when i first go WOT. Generally I've heard that when you install aftermarket exhausts a rejet is necessary. Plus, if I can milk a few HP out of a rejet.. I'll sacrifice a few MPG's any day! Based on what I've heard from this thread I am probably going to pick up a dynojet stage 1 kit. Thank you guys.

If you're going to do it, then you absolutely must have the K&N filter, or you're not going to be sucking enough air through, and you'll bog the engine down. May want to mod the airbox while you're in there.

You realize you can just jet your carbs to accept a new slip on right? You don't NEED to put a K&N drop in in there.

I know. The amount of airflow between a stock filter and a K&N is not enough to really screw with the a/f ratio. I am an auto mechanic and don't deal with carbs often but I know all about auto mods! What is this airbox mod that was mentioned?? I can't seem to find any info on this mod.
