Well, its more for my buddy. His wife asked me to find him a bike, so I start looking around and Itry to compare the bikes for sale compared to the deal I got. I just can't find it.

I found my f4 for 4500 with like 14.2k miles on it and it was mint condition, not a scratch.

So now I'm looking for my buddy and I see people selling there bikes with like 28k miles for 4300.. You guys think this is a good deal? I'm not doubting the longevity of the bikes or their reliability but for somthing that has 2x the amount of miles my bike had on it.. These prices seem a little steep. Should I not worry about it and just go off how the bike looks/performs. I know milage doesn't mean every thing but, it means I got a hell of a deal or people just want to much I suppose :\

 

Too much for an F4. But it really depends on the location of were your living.

 

I totally agree - I got my 01 F4i w/ 6.5K miles for much less on Craig's List.... you should check the historical E-bay listings for a better gauge in your area.

 

i got a 99 with 28k for 3000 with jacket and helmet. had a new clutch two bros exhaust, k&n, and said it was jetted idk though. i think i got a good deal. did plenty of searching and seems i made out ok.

 

Ya Craig'slist is the way to go...I got a '00 with only 8400 miles for around 4000...

 

Yea that's too steep. I got my 99 for 2800 bucks with 24K on the clock.
