I thought I would share...

Went out for bike last night...I was riding with about20-25 bikes. Everybody was sporting their brand new bikes. I got nothing but compliments on the "old F4" The only thing that I have done is polish the frame and swingarm...i even cut off the rear fender, and made my own tail - NOTHING FANCY, just an aluminum sheet to hold the license plate.

It also felt good that she was making some of these guys annoyed that spent $8500+ on a new 600 and 750...and were getting beat by a 2000 F4 on our great NJ speedways.

These bikes are great! They may not be as pretty as the new bikes out, but they can move, and from this forum...I know the engines last for a while!

 

i love my f4! Dont let anyone talk **** about it. they may have a new bike or newer then ours but it is all up to the rider how fast they can go and perform. Um riding my bike till it has no compression or the piston seizes.

 

thats good to hear. People always ask me what year mine is and i say 99. They are like wha!?? really?? Yup good shape eh!

 

I went to a bike night last week and they had a mobile dyno there, so of course I had to see what the girl would put out and blow $25 bucks...

98.4 hp and 41.7 ft-lb

The guy running it was pretty surprised at what it did.
He confirmed my suspsiouns that the bike was jetted out.
I'm working on trying to darken out the print out to post it on here.

The one guy I was with who has a 08 600RR stock put out 100.1 hp
