Well, Tonight was the first time the weather has been good enough to go ride at night. (also got my motorcycle licenses today, instead of my permit which allows me to ride at night today.)So i fired my bike up and let it idle until it was good and warm, I rode about two blocks to my buddies house and shut it off. I went to fire it back up and nothing. It turned over real slow, and then nothing. The battery was dead. I've never had any sort of charging issues. I push started it and rode for about 15 miles or so. shut it off and nothing. same scenario. I went and got a multi meter and put it on my battery at idle and it was 11.5ish. at 4 grand its 12.6ish or so. Should it be higher than this? Anyways. I put it on a battery charger for about 20 minutes and its fired up three or four times since no problem. I don't know what to think. Is there anyway to test the stator, to see if it is charging? What should the bike charge at?

seems as if it was a case of the i let my bike idle way too long and shut it off to quick after my short little 2 block jaunt. Fired right up today again, batt was at 12.34 before i started it and at 5k it was at 13.45 or something close to there. Seems to be fine! thanks guys for all the help!
