Default polished frame

hey i have just got my cbr and the frame was polished, the only thing is the bike has been sitting for a while and the polish has gone dull, and has spots on it, i have tried to wax it with regular car wax, and that did not work, i am scared to keep trying things becuase i dont want to get it repolished again unless i have to. Tight on money and woundered if their was anything out there i can buy that will shine it back up and get the spots off.

Oh yeah by hand works thats how I did my whole frame/swingarm. Do you happen to have a regular ol drill? I found some pads at the local OOO O'rielys that is about 8" across that chuck into a drill and they work great.
