i bought a wreck 99 cbr 600 f4 and unknow on what all parts are interchangeable i need a shifter peg assembly and gas tank found some on ebay but dnt wana buy anything that wont work i heard 99 to 03 but unsure plaz and thanx

 

Gas Tank Wise any F4-F4i tank should work? But don't quote me on that.. The Big Change in the F4 to F4i was the Front headlights and Fuel Injection instead of Carb.. Cosmetically.. i think the gas tank should be Interchangeable from 99 - 06.

As far as shifter peg assembly.. I am not too sure on that..

 

Incorrect. F4 & F4i gas tanks are different. You need an F4 tank...1999-2000. The F4i tank incorporates the fuel pump. The F4 tank does not. Two totally different beasts. ;-)

 

Really?! Whats the big different on an F4i or F4 Tank?? Like how does it incorporate the Fuel Pump different than the F4?

Just Researched it.. Fuel Pump is IN THE TANK for F4I? Correct??

Wouldnt a F4I tank Still work on a F4? Considering you connected all hoses to the correct hoses?

The two tanks are not interchangeable.
