Well I just bought a 88 1000F and I really neeed some help first I need faring parts ,nut's bolts,fasners and most plastic.Also I was told by the last owner that the altinator chain tensoner is making nosie the bike has 33,000 how hard are they to repair ?what type of oil do I need after the bike warms up the noise lessens?Any and all help would be appricaiteed

Try to find a manual online. I'm not too keen on the older bikes, but I don't know why it would be any different than 10/40.
