ok so i turned the bike on and let it run for about 5 min then road it around the block a few times no problems at alll. when i came home and turned the bike off, antifreeze instantly starts spraying out of the radiator cap .....but this still doesnt explain why the bike overheated yesterday and all my antifreeze went to the reserve

had the same issue on one of my bikes i have read threw most of the reply's when it runs hot mine also build up in the resovor as the coolant is trying to escape once it reaches that temp i changed my thermostat and cap still was running warm the fins were good fan worked exc then i was looking st the back side of the resovor and there was a small pin hole heat had built up and melted a small hole big pain
i removed the header and wrapped it with header tape from advanced auto
sealed it with the spay they say use also now at full operating temp i can touch the headers it keeps heat way down and the motor runs a little cooler also
