That works nice! Did you think the design of the 'popper' by yourself? Was it a kit? What application is the solenoid from?

I added a Clear Alternatives (non-integrated) LED taillight to mine.. got a really good deal on it... plus I just bought a set of T-Rex sliders.. I don't like teh white sliders on my bike now, and the black ones should look nicer.. hopefully I'll never need them.

Washed and waxed her up nicely yesterday.. then treated her to quick dusk run to a few south shore beaches... Wife watched the kids.. she is awesome about giving me time to get out for a bit.

Actually its in the how two section. Its not to great of a write up but it does say to use a escort solenoid which it the one from a car that will work the best. Trust me I went thru every car at the yard. Put I made it pop up by mounting a spring on the latch bracket.

She's looking good. What's that on the handlebars ?

My wife bugs me when I do decide to stay in the house or drive the car on a good day. She loves when I ride my bike since that is one of the few things that is mine and for me. Everything else I do is for her, the family and the youth down in Detroit. So even buys stuff for my bike like my whole rearend and the F4 targa seat cowl I had.

Thanks. That's a dollar store digital clock held onto the triple tree by two back zip ties.. it is silver, so it doesnt look too out of place.. didnt want to do the 'watch on the triple clamp' thing... had one on my Ninja too... worked great.. quick look down and you know what time it is... pity the F4 didnt come with a clock.. bet you like the F4i cluster more with that as well...

Your wife seems to be a great match for you. That is really great. It's a delicate balance... my car hobby has taken a back seat since we had our kids.. the bike is different because I can just ride to work and not really feel like its getting in the way of family stuff..

Yea I love this gauge its nice having an actual clock. I stole my wifes purple watch she used to use at work. It was water proof and I needed it. She was pissed off when she seen it on my bike after me saying I havent seen it everyday for two weeks.

Yea she lets me and sometimes finance my hobbies. First I was on GM's and traxxas cars till I got my bike. Then I sold my 4 traxxis cars, my cutlass and my malibu. Was gonna sell the Chevy stepside also but she said "hell no your not selling that truck after begging for it all your life". 33,000 mile all original grandpa finally gave it to me after me begging since I was 11, I got it when I 23. Now she is sitting on blocks under a cover in the garage.

Installed Trex sliders to replace the white ones that I didn't care for....

As you can see by the tailbag.. commuter mode.. beautiful day to ride to work.
