Default No spark solution

So i’ve seen a lot of people on here getting a no spark issue even after replacing a bunch of parts, i have found in most cases including mine it’s the zener diode on the pink wire going out to the ignition. And for people that have the after market ignition like i do there are wire that need to be moved on the ignition itself. I figured I’d share as Ive been dealing with the no spark for about a month and had to search multiple forums to piece together everything.
The zener diode is a 3.9V 0.5w
I used a 3.9v 1w
I placed the diode by the ecu itself instead of at the ignition for easier access if something happens down the line.
I disconnected the black wire from the ignition and moved the green wire to the open port
If anyone needs more pictures or information feel free to ask
I hope this help as a strait answer like this one would have helped me ALOT

In the photo with the diode there’s a pink wire and a red wire attached to it. They are both the pink wire, I needed to extend it.

@F4cbr600 Welcome to the forum. Thanks for sharing this information and you're right that's a common issue. Is there additional information about the specific Zener Diode you used, like part number, or source where you acquired it?

The part number for the diode is NTE5007A
You can get them from electrical supply stores or amazon/ebay for dirt cheap

Do you have the HISS system on your bike? If so that has a different immobilizer set up.
You could also have an aftermarket ignition that is not set up correctly.
Is the bike new to you?
