Default No spark/no fuel new ignition switch

I have a 1999 cbr600f4 and having problems getting power too ignition and fuel pump, i have a after market igntion and read about the diode not having a connection on the new switch so i put a converter on from the battery to that pink wire that converted it from 12v to 9.3v(didnt know if that would work but it was a cheap part so i tried) still no spark or fuel and everything is hooked up so im lost

It's probably the hiss security system not the 9v wire , the US model has the 9v wire and no hiss and the other region model has the hiss and no 9v wire but if you do have the 9v wire from the US model the fuel pump would still prime but u would not have spark, I believe with the hiss system you would have the no fuel pump prime and no spark.

As you are based in the US it should be the 9v pink wire issue. This is a very common problem with non-oem ignitions. Have you confirmed that you are getting the 9v to the ECU, this must be your first step?
As for priming, as you have an F4 which is still carbed then you will most likely not hear it prime, not quite sure how to check the voltage at the pump as it will be pulsed?

.and if you do infact have the US model with 9v pink wire whether your icm also known as ECM but it's infact called a icm gets the 9v or not your pump will still prime. If you don't got the US model f4 your pump wouldn't prime if you got a key that's not programmed to the icm.

Default If you got the US model

This does honesty look like a dead or bad battery so try a good battery and see what happens.
