Default Newbie with jetting questions

Ok, I am new to the motorcycle world and have been riding my 00 f4 for about 2000 miles. So far so good.

My question is, I bought the bike with an Erion exhaust on it, but I dont know if its a full or just slip on. I looked at it from underneath, and its all one peice and doesnt look like a slip on. But the header does lOOk stock. I just dont know if its is or not.

Ok so if its a full then I should rejet right? Because the guy that had it before me said he didnt yet. I just recently did a full tune up on it and added a k&n filter.

So as of now I have a K&N filter and an unknown Erion exhaust because I am way to new to bikes.

I want to rejet, but what kit/combo is the best bet for me. I am mechanically inclined enough to do it. I have done alot of work on cars, butthis is my first stab at bikes.

I dont have any places in my town that have a dyno, so I will be pretty much installing everything by what should work for my setup. Any bit of info and experience will be greatly apreciated.

Thanks
Chris

I wish I could tell you how to tell the difference between a slip on and a full system. What I can tell you is if it is a full system you will need to rejet. Here is a dyno jet kit from Parts 411.

i dont know the diffrence between a slip on and full by what u said but i would deffinatlly rejet it you can go dyno jet or k and n the kit is exactly the same as dyno jet they make it for k and n and it seems to be a lil cheaper full exhaust of not the rejetting will give u a much quicker throttle responce hope that helps a little

What exactly does re-jetting do? I understand better throttle response, but what are you doing if you re-jet?

Changing the the little "jets" in your carbureator so more fuel flows into the engine.
