Default Need some help bros

Sup, I just bought a 01 f4i with 31k miles. it had been sittin around for 2 months so the owner just jumped the battery when he brought it to me so it ran for a while, not it wont run. I don't even know how to get to to the battery. Can someone please explain how to access the battery.

Also, what maintenance should I perform on this bike since it has 31k miles? It rides fine and everything but I know it could use some TLC.

Hey what's up
well once you lift up the seat by accessing your bike trunk you'll see the battery up close to where the tank is located, you want to take off the battery terminal leads off. You can Google some batteries for your 01 F4i , I used to have the white/red 01 F4i was a good bike. Now I have the 99 F4
Depending on the battery type their are some tips on how to refil the electrolyte levels on the battery etc etc. (NEGATIVE) I'd just buy a new one then you know there's no worries.

Here's a link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...QQcmdZViewItem

Also here'a link for upkeep of your battery for Winter/Summer etc.

Other than that good luck and GET SOME PICS OF YOUR HONDA POSTED! We all kinda demand that around here!

GO HONDA! ENJOY! and hopefully this helps you

When buying a used bike I always change the oil, oil filter and air filter. Also take a good look at your chain, sprockets and brake pads.
