i am from Singapore, all 1999 model CBR F4 have HISS(Honda Ignition System Security). Lost all Coded keys for bike, If you dont use the special coded key for the bike, it will crank but wont start. if you lose keys, and you dont have any working key to start the bike, you have to buy new ECU or ICM or CDI, what ever you call it.

In american model, they is no such thing like HISS, so i was thinking to buy an American ICM/ECU and install on my bike, and dont use this HISS feature anymore(i dont need it). Can buy it on ebay less than $100. Honda will charge me $500.

So if any kind soul with a US bike (cbr F4 1999) could list the wire colours going into their ECU and take a photo of the connectors.

I assume the instrument clusters would be the same.

So any one can help?

Thanks for the help, but some one else gave me another manual of CBR 600 F4 1990-2000, and there, the wire colors are different, so which one is sorrect one? i am attaching ther other image..

By the way, according to my bike registration papers, it is CBR 600 FY , Year or Manufacture 1999.

I'm currently parting out my 2000 F4 and still have the ECU.
Instead of us bothing hassling with ebay, maybe we can come to some terms on pricing.

if you follow the wires between both pictures they go to the same place, however the pic you provided doesn't show the yel/red wire going to the ignition switch and the yel/grn wire going to the tach.
