NEED HELP with break caliper mount. not sure exactly how it mounts on. everything is fine until i back the bike up and the whole caliper moves with the rotor

 

Only guessing here since you don't indicate what year and model bike you have. So, guess you have an F4. Again, guessing its the rear caliper. The U shaped section engages with a section of the swing arm and that locks it in place. A picture of what you're talking about would help us not guess.

 

yes i noticed that but when i put it in the slot the hole doesn’t line up with the rod that goes through the wheel

 

Post up pictures if you can. Also still don't know exactly what model and year bike you have or even if it's the front or back.
