Default Nana to Split Tail...

Well my tail conversion is almost complete. All it likes now is a undertail which should be here Monday, and paint. But thanks to a few zipties holding the tag on its ridable. Heres some pix of er throughout the process. I will post more when shes has her undertail, and the n when shes painted too.

I had to fabricate some mounts to hold the tail light thanks to who ever butchered the undertray I got. Worked out nice tho IMO.

looks great, want to do the tail swap, but I think i'm just going to save for a new bike...how much were you out doing the swap? and I like the material you used for the seat covers.

Thanks. Just under $700 and I still need to get it painted. It all depends on what you can find the parts for. I bought all the 'unique bolts' new from honda instead of hunting used ones. After I sell my old parts I should only be out about $300 lol

Beautiful job. Did you polish the subframe? Also, do the bolts always stick out like that by the rear seat? I still have the banana seat, but may try the conversion in the future.

working on the polish part of it lol. I striped the paint from the exposed parts and start to sand it down to a polishable finish. Yea those are the frankenstein bolts ($30 from Honda) Pose to be for hooking a cargo net etc. A regular fairing bolt could be used too.

And thanks all for the compliments.
