Sorry if this repost angers any mods.. I posted it in the general tech forum, but it hasn't been responded to.. so I am reposting it in here for the F4 owners... I'd love to buy a new stand if I need it by tomorrow to have it for next weekend.
I recently bought an F4, and it is nearly perfect.. When I drove it home, I felt that the side stand was bent down a bit... I thought it should be more horizontal when it is up.
here are some pics I just took today... took it for a ride to the gas station.. wow.. love it.

Another shot.. from further back..

Compared to a pic I found in the F4 pic thread.. it seems to be..

I've found a few on ebay, but I wanted to be sure before I bought one.
Thanks,
Adam

I wonder what happened... the bike is in great shape.. the slider on that side is scuffed a little, so maybe it saved the fairings, shifter, pegs etc..
I did find out that according to the ron ayers fiche, the F4 and F4i have the same stand.. makes it easier to find one..
oh well.. next weekend's project!

Quick update.. I replaced the sidestand this past weekend.. the old one was tweaked... not too much visually but it made a big difference in how the bike sits... much easier to get off the bike now too... before I had to let it drop a bit more before it touched the ground...
man.. that one bolt goes all the way to the other side of the bike... but it was pretty easy... also allowed me to pull one of the side fairings to check things out and replace the stock horn with a freeway blaster..
anyway, thanks to everyone for the help. it is appreciated.
