Oh I Plan on swapping to a rivet, shop just didn't have one so I have to order it online. In the mean time though I still wanna ride. I looked through the wera and ama rule books and they didn't mention a rivet link though. which reminds me I need to get a drilling jig for the bolts, I don't have a table vice only C clamps. I like the idea of the remove before flight thing but need to make vent plugs for my ram air vents too, now that would be funny.

 

Oh, there's many things that aren't in the "book" but will not get you thru tech. ;-)

 

Damn, I really don't wanna take it to a shop to get a pre-inspection; but don't wanna show up SOL. So feel free to pass on any knowledge that you feel is pertinent. Oh and I ended up making ram air vent plugs out of some ISO mat. I took pics and I want to make something a bit more professional looking but in the end its more for sh***s and kicks.

We got off early today so I thought I would post up a pic while we were doing our hrcc class, Im having a blast and getting to shoot a ton!! I have blisters and calisus on my hands but its worth it once we finish this we move on to the on/off road course so Ill see if I can get some good shots.

Man I tell you I gotta talk to you some time. A lot of the things you have done to your bike I would really like to do to mine and I want to ask specifically where can I get a 49 State ECM from that I dont have to pay an arm and a leg for. For right now there isn't much else I want to ask but I am definitely interested in changing the swingarm out or changing the shock (which you already did). No less man you have made your bike look really good. -Randy
