My F4 just wont start
Hey guys, any insight would be much appreciated.
So last summer my bike was kicked over, I got her to start again after 2 weeks of trial and error. stored her away for the winter and tried to start her up last week. she started up then slowly died. afterwards she just wouldn't start. So today I cleaned the carbs, saw that there was still alot of oil in the carbs from when my bike was kicked over. gave her new spark plugs, and I changed the coolant. She just cranks and cranks and nothing. Any ideas? It was like 50 degrees today also.

I gave it new fresh gas and checked that there was a spark coming from each spark wire. I checked to see if there was gas in the carb bowls. the first and the fourth bowls had a good amount of gas when i drained them. the 2nd didn't seem to have any and the third had very little gas when I drained them. Any ideas guys? I can really use any advice. thanks in advance

Hey man I just have a couple of questions for ya you said you put in new plugs and checked the bowls, did you clean out the tank as well? FYI about 4 years ago PA went from pure gas to Ethanol and now it's basically everywhere in one month ethanol can seperate like milk and clog your bike up so you might want to just clean out your tank just to be on the safe side. does the bike do anything else? does it at least sound like it wants to start? you might want to replace your fuel filter as well.
I know I had a problem starting my new bike I just baught it this feburary and it was sitting for three years so I cleaned out the tank carbs, sparyed throttle and carb cleaner into them and replaced the fuel filter and it starts up everytime now so might want to give that a shot hope it helps bro!
