Hey, so i bought my bike from my brother last year, its a 1999 f4. I want to make it my own bike at this point, so i am looking to try and do some mods to it. I am just wondering exactly what you guys suggest that i do and also what can be done. So far i am considering:
1. Integrated Tail Lights
2. Powdercoating the rims yellow
3. Flush turn signals
4. HID bulbs
Any suggestions are welcome, and thanks in advance

 

I have the same bike but only it is a 2000. It was completly stock except for the zero gravity double bubble tinted windshield. Since then I have replaced the signals with LED flushmount, F4i tail replacement with integrated taillight, steel braided brake lines front and rear, pazzo brake and clutch levers and rim tape. I was going to say I've seen a few bikes on here with the same color scheme (cwmc29 & n8 Dawg specificlly) and they look really nice. Also n8 Dawg has some really nice looking mesh on his and i think he's willing to sell what was left over from when he used it..here's a pic he has of his.


Also IMO the yellow tires wouldn't look the best on the bike...but who know..it may look great.
I'd have to say the double bubble, mesh and yellow wheel tape look like the best options to me..oh and don't forget the sliders if you're a newbie or prone to accidents...

 

One thing that will get noticed and make your bike more yours would be to polish the frame and swing arm I polished the frame, swing arm, stator cover, clutch cover, rear sets, passenger rear sets,wheels, andthe top triple tree clamp my bike is many different colors I bought it totaled and im in the process of rebuilding it evenwith the bike being red, black,yellow, and white people still comment on it as if its the newest thing out!! and mainly on the frame.
