Is the CBR600F4 the 'correct' model name?

I've heard of others such as:

CBR600 Sport (for a 2001/2002 model)
CBR600F Sport
CBR600FSi

And I'm just getting a lot confused [&:]

Why do people use all these dirrferent model names...what's wrong with just one?

 

they're all different bikes based on production year and location ... they're not the same name because model is updated .. but name remains the same when no changes have been made

600 F4 = 2000
600 F Sport = 2000-2001
600 FS = 2003

600 F4 also includes the 1999 model
