how tight should i go with the adjustment for the cam chain with the manual cct

 

I think the manual called for 1/4-3/8 inch of deflection on the cam chain if you take off the valve cover to check it out ...

I've always set em by ear ... you gotta be pretty careful tho ... with your engine running at idle, you just adjust em out till you hear the cam chain getting noisy, then adjust it back in slowly till the sound goes away ... too far and it'll start to make a "whiney'' noise ... that's it ...
