Exclamation Lights shuts off the engine

Honda CBR 600 F4i 2001. When I switch on the lights the engine shuts off. Also, I cannot start the engine with the lights on. However, sometimes the next day, everything is working and lights are ok. I am a bit confused.

When driving with the lights off no problem at all.
Does anyone know what is the problem?

I checked the contacts and the relays at the front part. all good.

Do you have a multimeter ?
You could have an issue with your charging system or battery.

Yes, I do have a multimeter!
So what do you think will be the best thing to start with?

Check battery voltage with ignition off. Record reading
Turn her on. Record reading.
Leave probes attached and start her up. Be ready to watch the meter reading as you hit the start button. Record reading at its lowest point. Record reading when she’s at idle.
Once she’s started and warmed a little, increase rpm to around 3~4K rpm and record reading.

Check the cables from your rectifier for any signs of heat damage. If you have a plug with x3 yellows unplug it and test for continuity between the yellows returning to the rectifier. Inspect here for heat issue as well. Leave the ignition off for this trial. You should not have any continuity. Test the other end of the plug the same way.
Post back what you find mate.
Best of luck.

Hi there,

I hope I found out where the problem was.

I believe it is something related to the MAP sensor or the hose itself connected to the map sensor. It appeared that the MAP sensor was loose and not attached with a screw as the hole for the screw was damaged and the sensor was loose. When I shifted the sensor the lights came on and the fuel pump was working so I started it with lights on.

Regards,
