I just got done putting a Dunlop Qualifier front tire on my 2000 f4, and now i'm getting a rythmic throbbing/vibration through the handlebars. I mounted the tire myself and took it to a shop to have it balanced. I put the bigger spacer on the right side of the wheel, but I'm wondering if it has to go in a certain way. Any help would be great, Thanx.

Okay, so as long as the spacers are on the correct side they can't be put in wrong then I take it. I'll have to go back down to the shop tomorrow and have them check it out.

 

Have them test it. It's odd to find a shop that will touch a tire they didn't mount, most will not touch one they didn't sell.

 

I kinda know a bunch of the guys that work there, done a lot of business with them in the past.

 

Good deal. Maybe they rushed and made a mistake. Are you taking the bike to them or just the wheel/tire?

 

I was thinkin the whole bike, just in case they want to test ride it, so they know what i'm talkin about.

 

Was going to suggest that and they can look at the spacers for you.
