I just bought my CBR600 F4 and its great. I cant get enough of it. To bad its bad weather in MO.

 

What year and color did you get?? I have had two 99 F4's, 1 RED and 1 YELLOW..they are great bikes, very comfortable and versatile..

 

i love my 2000 f4.ive only got 2000mi and bored of the torque and low end power though.ill keep it and learn how to use what i have better.seems to be most peoples mistakes.ive beaten bigger and/or newer bikes cause they cant ride.good luck with the new unit.

 

I loved my F4, was sad to see it go... even as I drove my new 1KRR
home from the dealer. I still miss it some today, especially when the
GF wants to go for a ride.

Cheapest (and best) way to improve accelerate is to drop a tooth on
the front sprocket. Only costs ~$15 , takes 15 minutes to install and
you can use the stock chain etc without modifications. (Just re-adjust).

Only adds approx 400-500rpm @ 60mph. Makes 2nd gear wheelies alot
easier... if you're into that

I didn't loose any top speed either. STOCK I could not hit the limiter in
6th anyway. Fastest I ever went was 260km/h (indicated - once) other
then that, 255km/h was max... took way too much road to go for more.
