Default Just bought my first Honda CBR 600F4 with 600 Original Miles!!

Hey everyone I love my bike it's so much fun too ride. I recently purchased it from the original owner with 600 original miles. The guy never rode it! and sat for 11 years. It needed a total carb overhaul beccause they were all gummed up with old gas. But it is running perfect and couldn't be happier. It's all stock and I wanted to upgrade the exhaust, does anybody have any suggestions?

Check out youtube for sounds... I had a Micron and it was a bit loud for my tastes.. went with a Yoshi RS3 and love it... listen to some vids.. better yet look for some 'live' bikes...

I think I saw your bike on youtube with the yoshi exhaust, it sounds great. The micron sounds good but it seems like can get obnoxious after awhile

Thank you OutlawF4! I paid $3,500. I don't know if that was a reasonable price for it but after I rode it the first few times it wouldn't hold an idle and found out it needed a complete carb overhaul because of old gummed gas in the carb which cost me about $500 at the Honda Dealer which seemed like a lot of money but the mechanic was cool and gave my f4 it's first service! He changed my oil and replaced my brake fluids. It starts up without the choke and runs like a dream. The funny thing was when I was calling around different Honda Dealers asking them what they would charge for a service and they would ask me, "How many miles?" and I would say "Well about 600 miles at the moment". It was just fun hearing their responses.

Startin with a good slate though if your going to mod it out a little. Plus, those stock parts look like their in really good shape so would sell to cover probably half of the mods.1++ Look at my profile pics, mine is mint condition, stock look, w/all the basic mods. I spent maybe $1200 for exterior mods. My bike had the big bore kit(636cc F4) in it when I bought it. That bike is barely "broke in". So you know its never been beat. Nice score!!
