Why do you want to re-jet your bike? Do you have the mods to support the larger jetting? If you are just going to run a slip on muffler then there is no need to re-jet. Remember-more fuel is not alway better and it can make you loose power.

not to mention lower the fuel economy.

A jet kit would only be needed if you added a full exhaust or k&n/slip-on .

Even adding a K&N and a slip on may not warrant a Re-jet.

i bought my bike a month and a half ago now and the guy i bought it form said it was jetted. i have a k&n and a two bros slip on. now i have not torn it apart to make sure it was jetted. but i did have two stickers on the side(laughing out loud). ne ways i ran my tank one time just to see what i got and my trip meter said 163 and the light came on. this is with a lot of high rpms to cuz i was practicing wheelies and riding fast. i think thats normal right?

160 - 170 miles is bout normal for my F4. And mine has a full D&D exhaust and a K&N on it. I dont know if it has a jet kit or not, But I suspect a stage 1 has been installed. But carbs can be tuned, and not necessarily need rejetted.

My F2 has a K&N filter & hindle supersport carbon pipe. When that work had been done, the throttle felt REALLY sluggish. I took it to a buddies shop and put in a Dynojet Stage 1 kit. We threw it on the dyno and tuned it up. After the work was done, the throttle response felt a million times better. I wouldn't say it is night and day faster or anything but certainly feels much better.

Care to explain how the f4 carbs can be tuned? The jets are what control the amount of fuel the engine sees. The only thing you can "tune" on the carb is to adjust the idle mixture. Thats it

You tune the vacuum levels to make them even thoughout the carbs.
