Although I no longer have the banana seat on my F4, I do have the Competition Werkes FE. However, the principle behind the installation is still the same. Here's a couple of pics I posted in this thread... https://cbrforum.com/forum/f4i-main-forum-11/competion-werkes-fender-eliminator-kit-119409/ ...
These should give you a better idea of how the stock license plate light is 'reused' w/ the CW FE kit... Attachment 51725Here's a pic of the CW FE before installing the stock lic plate light... Attachment 51726 |

Speaking of Clear Alternatives, I wanted to pass the unfortunate news that the company has actually closed it's doors. Clear Alternatives actually did go out of business, but the brand will continue to be distributed by a new company Moto Lume. In fact, Moto Lume has taken over production as well and has drastically improved the quality of parts being manufactured lately.
For lights that are approximately $100 retail (even cheaper on eBay) I think most would be surprised with the new line of Clear Alternatives product being produced by Moto Lume. |
that explains a lot! i tried to google clear alternatives to see what they have on their site but moto lume was the first result. thanks for the clarification!
