Idle screw location

Default Idle screw location

ok so Im kinda new to bikes and my 99" CBR 600 is my first one.. i can opan the choke almost completly but when its fully open the bike idles at like 2.5 K.. I was wondering where the idle screw is

so after posting i went and checked it out, i followed the lines to the screw. but after turning it down a little the bike dies at fully open choke.. the lowest i could get it was 2K...

would there be something else wrong with the bike?

Well, the bike needs the choke (when cold) to start. Once started, don't twist the throttle any further. Instead, let the bike adjust & warm up. Once warmed up a bit & rpms increase, adjust the choke lever back a bit til warm, then completely back. You want your rpms to be somewhere around 1300-1500.
