Default Idle after sitting for a few days.

Hey guys just got married and let my bike sit for probly 5 days, it was covered.
This isnt the first time the bike has done this to me.
When i tried to start the bike it started up and i held the throttle to about 2000 rpm for a little bit. Choke was fully on.
Trying to get it warmed up and after i got it to idle for a few seconds it died.
tried starting it again and it wouldnt start for nothing, adjusted the screw and finally after 20 mins of adjusting it fired up and i got it to idle by itself.
I know we have to let our bikes warm up but its getting annoying.. it was about 70 degrees outside.
Any ideas??
