Default ideal Idle speeds

Hello
A quick question...
What would be the ideal idle speed for a CBR600 FY sport. (this may just be a UK model)
It runs on idle at about 600rpm but i want to increase it a bit so i get better response taking off. The performance in the low range isn't great and i think increasing the idle speed may help or atleast cover up a bit of this bad performance... I'm just not sure what i can set it at.

Check your owners or service manual. But I think your idle is too low. It should be somewhere between 1k and 1.5k if I'm not mistaken.

is it always at 600 even after a short drive? Mine starts at around that much but after a couple of minutes it rises up to the 1k area
