So i just got my F4 a few weeks ago and i notice the start button gets in the way of my thumb when im reaching for the handle grip after reaching to do something with my right hand wile riding, iv done it a few times wile moving but with my Ipod and the wind i cant hear anything other then the motor, i dont think i actually pressed it but ik iv come close. Also when jumping on quickly, wile in neutral, iv thumbed it and after doing so just gave it a quick push at idle to see what happens, just a normal starter noise, didnt sound bad? not like when you hear someone try to start a car thats already running but anyways my point is, is this bad for the starter or flywheel or motor? I saw on another forum that someone does this to make lights change? iv hurd shutting the bike off n then turing it on to make lights change but with the bike on??? Anyone else have this problem? Does it hurt anything? Does pressing it at hi rpms hurt? THANKS!!!!
(I only hit the stater accidentaly, just sorta in the spot where my thumb wants to go, im of corse trying to stop doing it just wondering how bad it is)

 

it not something you want to happen to often, change grips, or whatever you need to do to stop the problem, or you could be buying a new starter soon, or worse

 

That bad huh? Im pretty sure its only been pressed once or twice when the bike was just sitting in N so i dont think it could have done much harm n now that im thinking about it wile im riding im much more careful not to touch it.
