My HID light stays on at low rpms but then shuts off when i get moving. I just put a new bulb and ballast on my bike. It has a 10 amp fuse. Any thoughts? Thanks.

 

I would double check all your connections.
Does it happen when just reving it?
what HID kit do you have?

 

No it stays on when idle or reving in neutral. If i grab the clutch while moving it comes on. All the other lights work fine as well. I bought it with a xentec kit so thats what i replaced the old one with. They are 10000k bulbs.

Sounds like a vibration problem, you'll get different vibrations through the chassis when the bike is under load compared to when it's in neutral (or clutch is in) I have a V-star who's mirrors are useless at hwy speed because they shake so much, low speed is fine and I need to pull my clutch in if I want to look in them if my revs get up.

 

I was gonna say either a connection problem or maybe the ballast has a short. Since you bought a new ballast, maybe retracing all the wires or doing a quick rewire might solve the issue.
