Hi, I'm in need of some typical newb help. Although I have 5K miles under my belt i dont have any buddies who ride yet to help me with technical things. I never got around to winterizing my bike, stupid i know, and have'nt ridden it since last June. I replaced the completley dead battery and dead fuses. My bike will still not start. Sorry for not using the correct jargon, i'm not sure what "turning" really means but when turn the ignition to on everything looks fine, I then tried starting it with: kickstand up, in neutral with choke on and off, and with cluch open and closed and nothing. I followed the manuels instructions for a flooded engine and the "won't start" walkthrough and still nothing. It makes the start noise like when turning the key to start a car but never "catches" i guess is the word. Is it possible I'm just screwed from not winterizing? Any ideas how much this could cost or if I could find someone smarter than me in this area to help me?

Is it the same tank of gas from last June? If so drain it and get new stuff
