Default HELP!!!--------

1999 Honda 600 f4 won't start..I was riding..I let the bike warm up..come out the neighborhood...1st.2nd.3rd.4th. sputter, sputter, bike shuts off....i try to restart the bike...the starter works..but the bike wont turn over..if it does turn over, its only for a half of a second..what could be wrong with the bike? timing? spark plugs? fuel system? i took off the fairings and everything looks normal so far.

ha, that was my first thought, too. My second thought: something with the fuel line. Maybe debris in the tank getting clogged. Check that out and let us know what's up

When you say it willnot turn over do you mean it will not crank? or it cranks, but will the start? If the engine will not turn ove then it could be locked up. Does the engine crank over really fast? We need more info to help you out. You have to be missing one of the 4 components so find out witch one is missing.
