Has anyone installed a gear indicator on a cbr600f 1999

 

Any information on that?, I purchased 2 different connection types but not sure if they will work.

 

Sorry for hashing up an old thread - but did anyone have any luck? I bought a cheap AliExpress Gear Indicator which said it was compatible with CBR600F4 but I cannot match the connectors to anything on the bike

 

Make sure you get standalone gear-indicator. F4 doesn’t have ECU that communicates with gear-indicator. So you want to get unit withy 2 separate up & down switches that detects movement of shifter. Anything that needs to connect to ECU won’t work.
