Front Wheel Question

OK guys I would like to swap out my front wheel with a 5 or 6 spoke design (Well anything but the stock 3 spoke). Anyway I have been reading around the place and it seems like the F3 front rim will fit the F4 without modification with the exception of the rotor. From what I gather, I need to use a 900rr front rotor or a F3 rotor. I would really like to use my current F4 rotor as it only has 3k miles on it. It seems as is the 900rr front rotor is different between the years also.
Maybe the front VFR wheel and rotor will fit. Not sure but it seems to be similar to the F3 front wheel. Anyway any suggestions? I just want a 5 or 6 spoke wheel without too much modification.

This thread may put you on the track you're going for. Aweasel installed a VFR front wheel & a 900RR rear wheel... https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-600f4...e-pics-111740/ .

While it is true that F4 wheels are heavier than F4i wheels, 3 spoke F4 wheels are lighter than 6 spoke VFR wheels.
But since you're going for looks & not performance/less rotating mass, then the point isn't relevant to you. Just posting for clarification for other readers wanting to know the difference.
Anyway, good luck on your project.

If we're talking 6 spoke VFR wheels, then I'm fairly certain this is an incorrect statement.

Thanks for your help, I sent him a PM about the front rim for some clarifacation. I will be sure to weigh the wheels to see the difference once I decide on what I need.
While it is true I am going a bit more for looks than performance, I dont see how there would be a huge difference even if it is 3-5 pounds heavier. Well lets put it this way, this is not a track bike and probably will never be. I would probably get a 600rr if I wanted to throw a bike on a track but I simply do not have the riding skills yet

Update:
I know its been a while guys but I did actually go through with this. I changed the rear to a 900rr rear but the front was left stock. I did manage to test fit a cbr f3 rim on the front and make it work with spacers but I misplaced them right when I was sending out the rims to get powdercoated. F3 rim is sitting in my garage now collecting dust.
Some of you may not like the color but it grows on you after a while. The bike will not change any more cosmetically from here.
