My bud just bought a 99 f4, the front rim is trashed. Will a F3 or a F4i rim work?

 

Not sure about the F3 rim, but the F4i rim will work if you get the spacers and rotors with it.

 

yep, the rabbit is right. i found out the hard way. i bought and powder coated rims off an f4i and found i needed to change out the rotors and spacers. works like a charm though. f3?....have no idea (all i know is the f3 was a very different bike)

 

Ok so if I am understanding this right you can use a F4i rim you just need the spacers and rotors off the f4 rim right?

 

No you need the rotors off the F4i as well, basicaly the entire front wheel off an F4i, the F4 rotors will not fit on an F4i rim.
