Front end question...
I have a 91 CBR 600 F2 and noticed that in slow traffic when coming to a stop light, I usually hit my front brak harder to make the weight of the bike dip forward to make sure the lights weight sensor is set off so as not to sit at the light for 20 mins getting skiped when I'm first in line or alone. When I do this I noptice an ever so slight feeling that someting is loose or hitting.. Bike front dips and you feel a slight <bonk>/<click> feeling. I have went through and wiggled every piece I can by hand and found nothing to be loose and also checked for clearances when the suspension compresses. Any Ideas what this could be?
Thanks in advance.

RE: Front end question...
Not sure about the mechanical part of your question, but here in TN it is legal for a motorcycle to stop at any redlight and run through the red light as long as traffic is clear (because the bike doesnt weigh enough for the sensor to trip the light.) Might check the laws where you live.

RE: Front end question...
these bikes are commonly in the shop for steering head bearings. that sounds like your problem. if not that it seems like you have some fork internals not functioning propely.
and FYI, red lights dont have weight sensors. bikes dont have enough metal on them to change the red light. there is usually a smaller box on the front left corner of the inductance loop in the road. that box is for motorcycles to place their front wheel in to get the light to change.

RE: Front end question...
Agreed. It's the steering head bearings. If you go over a bump, and you feel something loose in the front end, that's the steering head bearings. Also, try shaking the front tire side to side with your hand and check for play. This will indicate bad wheel bearings.
