no way to really be sure but yes he could have just removed the decals. the lower fairings should be all gloss black with orange decals like my F4 has yellow ones. you can try to get a complete kit off ebay for around $100, not sure of the quality or color match tho. the likes of ronayers.com n carolinacycles has the factory ones but they are priced individually. You cant beat thatprice tho even if it has been laid down.

 

that makes plenty of sense..but like the other guys said you cant be positive. i just got my f4 a couple months ago for 2500 but its been laid down and has some scratches on both sides...and has 27,000 miles. I think you're still getting a good deal evenif its been down.

 

Well, I went and got it, and it really is in good shape, just dirty. I will be cleaning it up and getting new lower stickers. Thanks for everyones help..

 

I had to replace a factory decale on my F4 and just the one section was about $25.00 from the Honda dealer. My bike is Sunrise yellow. My whole lower half is glass blace like your bike and the decales make the wing look.
