Frame Sliders ¿¿??
OK so i see these bikes with this black pipe looking thing sticking out on both sides, so i ask and (am called a noob), what they are. some one tells me they are Frame sliders and that i HAVE to get some.
So here i am asking you honda gurus, what are they and where do i find them and how much, witch brand. ease of installation... you know, all the good things.
Thanks.

When you drop your bike the sliders take the impact and reduce the damage done. They are cheap and bolt right onto your frame. You'll need to cut a hole in your fairings to put them in.
I am in the market for some as well. Pretty inexpensive ($50-$100)compared to how much the cost of fairings, etc. can be. Even in a simple tip-over, they can take most or all of the impact and save you a ton. From what I can tell, there are a few brands out there that make them for the f4. I'mprobably going to go withVortex sliders.I have a buddy that also has an f4 and he got these no-cut frame sliders off of ebay. They seem pretty decent as far as the sliders go, butthe consensus seems to be that the no-cut sliders are not as strong as the regular ones. This is because they mount to the same engine bolt as the regulars but stick out through an existingspacein the fairing via a bracket. Good luck!
