Default subframe

I just posted something about how much the subframes cost. So as soon as I can get a reasonable idea about the cost I'll let you know if you still want it.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I've done the split-seat conversion to my 2000 F4. The conversion itself was relatively easy. However, finding all the parts was another thing altogether. It took me awhile to find everything. Ebay is a source for subframes...they tend to go anywhere btwn $100-200. Factory tail cowls...about the same. Seats go for anywhere btwn $40-75, depending on condition of course. Potluck prices on inner-fenders/battery trays.

Craigslist is also a source but rarely see listings just for these parts. Otherwise, you can search motorcycle salvage yards. Some even ship for reasonable fees.

If you're not concerned about prices, ServiceHonda or your local Honda dealer can order factory new...but it'll cost ya. BikeBandit & RonAyers also stock factory Honda parts.

Good luck. When you start on the conversion, if you need help, please let me know.

+1 bout what my parts ran when I did the tail conversion. Spent about $800 total.
