does this undertail fir a 2000 f4 the pic says 99-00 and 04-07 im just kinda iffy about the top around the light

 

Sean, I've never seen that particular undertail b/f. While it looks like it could fit, like you l'm iffy about that portion as well.

I took a pic of the inside/underside my old banana seat tail cowl for you to take a look at, in case you haven't pulled yours. Maybe it will help w/ your decision. Here ya go...

 

i think that the middle "tooth" is there to fit against the inside of the tail fairing since there are no bolts in that area to hold the undertail in place.

 

Where did you locate this undertail? I have been looking for one but I can only find 1 hotbodies kit and I don't really like the fact that I have to re-use the factory light. I want some kool shotgun type lights
