Convert to a f4i split seat subframe

 

You can buy new parts from Honda but they'd be pretty expensive. However, I'd recommend looking on ebay, craiglist, & your local motorcycle salvage yards. Also, you can look here on the classifieds & other sportbike forums.

airtech-streamlining has all the race fairings you need for the f4. i have dealt with them for a long time and they are easy to work with

 

I ended up buying the Sharkskinz race tail (http://www.sharkskinz.com/shopexd.asp?id=1017). Haven't installed it yet (Winter project) but it seems well made and finished.

Itd be cool to fab up a bracket to run a tail light, blinkers and the plate back there. Id much rather run that tail than the banana seat or even a split seat

I am in the process of fitting a Sharkskinz race tail to my F4. I have to do some fi erglass work to it and paint then mount it and fix the front nose fairing after my highside in March.
Almost there. I wanna do a trackday at NJMP on July 8 so I need to get it done.
