I really wanted a yellow bike too gotcbr, always had honda yellow quads but its hard to be picky when your trying to trade straight up on craigslist for a streetbike but oh well....yes i do plan on going to gatlinburg and prob deals gap too once I get some more time on this thing prob near end of summer. I am still a beginner to streetbikes & I dont think "deals gap" would be a good idea for me for a few months, that place looks insane in videos on youtube.

 

You might enjoy Natchez Trace Parkway. That's some nice riding. Don't be daunted by Deal's Gap. At a nice easy slow speed, its very nice. Its the yoyo idiot speedsters that get in over their heads.

Too, there's some good riding up past Murfreesboro on the new Woodbury Hwy as well.

Little cold in the greater Middle TN area this time of yr though. ;-)

supposed to be 55 thursday. we plan on riding to murfeesboro. I live right where the Natchez trace starts in TN so of course that was the first place I went. we made it about 20 miles south before we got too cold & turned around. Thanks for tip about woodbury hwy, will be looking for it when we get there

 

55? wow.. I wish... I wanted a yellow one as well.. but I loved the way the silver and red looked together on mine.

mike: that bike looks great.. around here (NY) I think that F4 would fetch $3k in the spring without issue...

I paid 2000 for mine and it has 35000kms , I dont know what that is in miles though but I also bought it 3 days before christmas !

Thanks man! When the bike was torn down I couldn't BELIEVE the amount of GREASE and GRIME that was on this bike. I basically sat town with a spray bottle of degreaser, a few old toothbrushs and went to town on EVERYTHING... bike is probably a good 3 pounds lighter.

So far including the bike i've probably got about 1500 dollars tied up into it... :P

The biggest improvement was changine my stock 530 chain w/ 23k miles on it for a 525 kit I bought on ebay (front sprocket, chain, rear sprocket) that had about 300 miles on it. Got that for 25 dollars SHIPPED... soo much better!

 

Any idea what kind of undertail/fender elim kit your bike has? Mine has the same.. as a matter of fact I just replaced the lic plate light.. but was wondering who made it. Also, did you simply paint your frame sliders or did you replace them? curious.. the bike really looks awesome.. can't believe how little you have into it...

I still love my silver and red though.. but yours.. wow..
