This is what is looked like before I got done with it (see below). I'm kind of a neat freak and when I was riding looking at those scratches, it felt like this bike wasn't cared for. I cleaned the heck out of it and it still looked bad. I was contemplating painting it but then I saw a triple clamp overlay for the F4 and got that (about $15 shipped). This is the title on ebay:
"Honda CBR 600 F4 & F4i TRIPLE CLAMP OVERLAY - CBR600". I think it really freshens up the bike. Feels new now.

I spent a few days cleaning this bike up so it can look like something I'd own. I got kind of obsessed and I think I'm calling the bike "Christine" (like in that Stephen King book).

That rusty key ring was when I was looking at the bike at the previous owner's house.
I didn't polish the triple clamp I just put an overlay. Maybe it's possible to remove the
paint and polish to a nice silver but I like the gloss black.

ORIGINAL: CB750

ORIGINAL: RVAcbr600

press this button and then put the photobucket(or some otherphotostoring website)web address for the picture in it...and voila!
I got that, I mean when viewing the thread I have to click a link that opens a pop-up box, and then click another link to see the picture. Does it do that for everybody, or just until you have x number of posts?
that is when they clikc the link at the bottom the says "click here to upload" they are uploading the pics to the site. they could also embed the pic in the post so all you have to do is click the thumbnail pic

Hey, that looks nice; black is always sweet when clean and glossy.
May, I can't wait until Spring so my tires can look that clean.

What kind of shield is that? double bubble? I wish I didn't have to duck my head so low to get the wind off of it. Can you see through the black shield? Where'd you buy and how much?

Thanks,

Dennis

Hey,

These pictures were taken just after I bought it which is why it looks so clean, not so clean anymore. It is a double bubble screen and it came on it when I bought it so I'm not sure where you can buy one from, I'm from the UK as well so I can't really suggest anywhere. (Unless you are from the UK as well) No you can't see through it, not sure if that's a good thing or not. [8D]
