Default F4 not firing,HELP!

Bike's not firing, wont start. plugs are good and I don't believe it to be a fuel/ carb issue. I sat for about 3 months, possibly the coils or "the little box by the tail "...? how do you determine if the coils are bad? help please

Have you checked your kill switch and if so can you hear your fuel pump prime when you turn your key on? Did you turn your petcock off under the tank? The easiest way to see if you are getting spark would be a spark tester, one end connects to the spark plug and the other goes into the plug boot or coil. Each plug has its own coil or coil on plug design. You could also remove the coil, place a spark plug into it, ground the end of the plug and watch for a spark while you crank it over although i have never tried this so i do not know if the wires are long enough ect.

Pull your tank and airbox lid and dump a little gas in each carb, then try to start it.

The fuel pump is deceptive as i doesn't whine like a car fuel pump does, so you won't hear it. It's kind of a vibrating sound, and you can feel it if you put a finger on it. the fuel pump is located on the ight side between the rear brake reservoir and shock.

ok, i ll try to test each coil and see what then...i dont want to just throw parts at it cause a set of used coils cost around $60-70
